#4: How to Make Your FTD Flowers Last Longer:
Flowers are beautiful and expensive, so get the most out of your purchase. Your FTD bouquet will last a lot longer if you follow these easy steps:
- Mix cool, freshwater with the floral preservative (packet that came with your flowers) in a vase
- Remove any foliage that falls below the waterline to prevent decay and keep the water clean
- Give the flowers a fresh cut at an angle, under running water before placing them in the vase
- Don’t place the flowers in a warm spot like in direct sunlight or on top of a tv. It will make them (bloom and wilt) too fast!
- Recut the stems every 2-3 days, and add some fresh water to the vase daily, if needed
